Brush-tailed phascogale

PHASCOGALE SURVEY WORKSHOP

Wildlife Queensland in conjunction with the Wildness Regional Council are hosting a Brush-tailed phascogale community information workshop on the 30th of June 2013.

Those members of the community who are interested in participating in a series of brush-tailed phascogale surveys are invited to attend this information evening, where you will be provided with information from scientists regarding the survey and techniques that will be used.

Brush-tailed phascogales are a vulnerable species and it is thought that their population has declined by about 50% in the local area. By carrying out regular surveys it will then be possible to carry out focussed and effective management strategies to protect local populations and their habitat.
